An uptime monitoring app deployed on AWS ECS Fargate with Terraform, Docker, HTTPS and automated deployments.
- Containerised the application with Docker and pushed images to Amazon ECR.
- Provisioned AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
- Automated deployments through GitHub Actions using OIDC rather than long-lived AWS keys.
- Configured ALB, Route 53 and HTTPS for a real public request path.
- Tested ECS self-healing by deliberately stopping a running task.
- Tested monitoring and alert delivery by deliberately causing a service failure.
